New Delhi: Corona continues to wreak havoc in India. Now the number of corona infects in India has crossed 59 lakhs. More than 85 thousand new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours. According to the latest data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Saturday, the total number of corona infections in the country has increased to 59,03,933. In the last 24 hours, 85,362 new cases were reported in the country. At the same time 1,089 more people died. Thus the total number of deaths from Corona has increased to 93,379.
According to data from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, there are currently 9,60,969 active cases in the country which are being treated in hospitals. At the same time, the number of patients recovering in the country has increased to 48,49,585. According to ICMR, as of September 25, a total of 7,02,69,975 have been reported for the corona virus, of which 13,41,535 were tested yesterday.
Maharashtra has the most active cases in the country. More than two lakh infected people are being treated in hospitals in Maharashtra. It is followed by Tamil Nadu at number two, Delhi at number three, Gujarat at number four and West Bengal at number five. These five states have the most active cases. Meanwhile, 3,827 new cases of corona virus were reported in the capital Delhi on Friday, taking the total number of infections in the national capital to more than 2.64 lakh, while the death toll rose to 5,147 with 24 more deaths due to the disease. There are a total of 2,64,450 cases of infection, while 30,867 patients are undergoing treatment. Apart from Delhi, the pace of corona continues in other states including Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal.
