CSK on 7-day rest, Dhoni believes team will make comeback on Rayudu's return

The Chennai Super Kings, who started the 13th season of the IPL with a win, have lost two matches in a row.
Delhi Capitals beat Chennai by 44 runs on Friday. Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was disappointed with the failure of the batsmen in the second match in a row. Dhoni said a seven-day rest would help him learn about the shortcomings. Chennai's next match is against Sunrisers Hyderabad on October 2.

"I don't think this was a good match for us," Dhoni said. Jakal was not, but the wicket slowed down a bit and our batting department got a little lacking and this is annoying. Due to the slow start, there was pressure to increase the run rate. We have to figure it out.

Dhoni further said, "We will have a chance to rest for the next seven days and come back with a clear picture. With Rayudu's comeback in the next match, the team will be in good balance. Dhoni was not happy with the performance of his bowlers.

"If you look at the bowling department, it lacks consistency," says Captain Cool. Rayudu should play the next match and only then can we consider landing with an extra bowler.

Delhi Capitals beat Chennai Super Kings by 44 runs to clinch their second win in the Indian Premier League. Delhi scored 175 runs for the loss of three wickets in 20 overs after being invited to bat first. In reply, Chennai could only make 131 runs for 7 wickets.

Earlier, the Chennai Super Kings match was played against Rajasthan Royals. In which he also suffered defeat. Rajasthan scored 216 runs in 20 overs. In response, Chennai could only make 200 runs in 20 overs. Even in this match, Dhoni, who came in very low for batting, was annoyed. It remains to be seen what strategy the CSK team will play in the next match.
