New Delhi: Former Union Minister of India, BJP leader Jaswant Singh died on Sunday morning. 82-year-old Jaswant Singh had been suffering poorly for a long time. According to a statement issued by the Army Hospital in Delhi, former Cabinet Minister Major Jaswant Singh (Rita) died at 6.55 am today. He was admitted on June and was undergoing treatment for multiorgan dysfunction syndrome with sepsis.
He suffered a cardiac arrest this morning. Their Kovid status is negative. He was a minister during the tenure of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. All political personalities including Prime Minister Narendra Modi have expressed grief over the death of Jaswant Singh. The Prime Minister has expressed his grief by tweeting one after the other.

PM Modi tweeted, spoke to Shri Manvendra Singh and condoled the death of Jaswant Singh ji. Jaswant ji was fighting the disease bravely for the last 6 years.
At the same time, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said, "We are deeply saddened by the death of veteran BJP leader and former minister Mr. Jaswant Singh." He served the country in many capacities, including in charge of the Ministry of Defense. He distinguished himself as an effective minister and MP.
