The New Zealand government has allowed the introduction of international cricket in the country. International cricket has been closed for several months due to Corona. New Zealand Cricket (NZC) has confirmed this by releasing a statement.
NZC said in its statement issued on Friday, "The government has given us the green signal to organize international cricket. Now we can schedule to host West Indies and Pakistan in November."
West Indies have to play three T20s and two Tests against the same in New Zealand while Pakistan have to play three T20s and two Tests. Apart from this, the New Zealand women's cricket team is also considering playing a tri-series with Australia and Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, the Australia tour of the New Zealand team which was to be held in January next year has been postponed. Now more information about when this series will take place has not been given. There were three ODIs and one T20 match under this series.
