Lucknow: The Yogi government plans to make Ayodhya eco-friendly in addition to a center of faith, spirituality, tourism as well as trade and employment. The attraction of Ayodhya will increase in the coming years after the construction of the magnificent temple of Ramallah and the erection of the tallest idol of Lord Rama in the world. According to the tourism department, the number of tourists visiting Ayodhya will triple in the next 10 years. The Yogi government wants to create a city where Ayodhya will leave an indelible mark on incoming tourists and devotees. He discusses Ayodhya wherever he goes and inspires others to come to Ayodhya. With this objective in mind, the Yogi Government wants to make Ayodhya grand and divine as well as eco-friendly.
Parking on main roads, rope-ways and plans to keep Saryu river clean
In order to make Ayodhya eco-friendly, parking or multilevel parking will be created as per the need at the main roads which will enter the city. It is proposed to run an electric vehicle to enter the city from the parking lot. Plans are also being considered to build a rope-way to visit Ramallah from key locations with entry points locally. So that no vehicles will come in the city, it will be easier for tourists and devotees and also pollution will be reduced.
To keep the Saryu river clean, the drains will be tapped and connected to the sewage treatment plant. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has pointed out that technically any good model of STP should be installed in Ayodhya.
Ayodhya will be developed as a solar city
Ayodhya is also proposed to develop a solar city. A strategy in this regard will be prepared in collaboration with the Town Development Department, NEDA. In a review meeting of the Faizabad Mandal last month, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had also directed to develop Ayodhya as a solar city. Thus, the new Ayodhya is being planned in such a way that the protection of the environment is taken care of.
New Ayodhya will be built as an integrated model of Vedic and Smart City
In addition to making it grand, divine and eco-friendly, the Yogi Government is going to build a new Ayodhya on about 749 acres of land in Maza Barhata, Maza Shahnawazpur, Maza Tihura as an integrated model of Vedic and Smart City. The land is on the Lucknow-Gorakhpur National Highway. On the way from Lucknow to Gorakhpur, Saryu is situated in the middle of a demo built on the shore and close to the land allotted for the proposed statue of Lord Rama. About 100 plots will also be allotted here for monasteries and voluntary organizations for guest houses, different religions, denominations and monasteries for five countries and 25 states, including Korea.
