Let us know that an official of the Reserve Bank of India has informed that the country's gross domestic product (GDP) in the second quarter (July-September) of the current financial year is estimated to decrease by 8.6 percent compared to a year ago. RBI has already projected that GDP could fall by 9.5 per cent in the current financial year. The study report prepared by RBI researcher Pankaj Kumar said that India has technically gone into economic downturn for the first time in its history in the first half of the year 2020-21.
