CHANDIGARH: After Uttar Pradesh, now the Haryana government may soon bring a strict law against love jihad in the state. CM Manohar Lal Khattar said on Sunday that it is being seriously considered. In this case, Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij, in direct terms, pointed out that Haryana is also considering enacting a law against Love Jihad.
Any concrete decision can be taken soon. While giving a statement in the case after the Nikita murder case in Haryana, the minister has indicated to make a law against Love Jihad. Explain that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had said on Saturday that he will enact an effective law to stop Love Jihad strictly.
He warned that those who play with respect for daughters-in-law, if they do not improve, then the Ram Nama Satya is about to leave their last journey. Acting President of Haryana State Women's Commission Preeti Bhardwaj Dalal has said that the murder of Faridabad student Nikita Tomar is a heinous incident. He demanded strict action against the culprits. He said that the Home Minister of Haryana has also instructed to run the matter in the fast track court.
Significantly, on October 26, Nikita, 21, a B-Com third year student returning from a paper at Ballabhgarh in Faridabad district, was shot dead. The murder accused had arrested Tousif, friend Rehan, and a facilitator, Azruddin, cousin of Congress MLA Aftab Ahmed from Noonh. The SIT is investigating the case. The government has approved the hearing in the fasttrack court.
