Chennai : A cyclonic storm has hit the Bay of Bengal, which will have an impact in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. According to the meteorological department, a cyclonic storm will cross the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry on the evening of 25 November. In view of the alerts issued in the coastal areas, the local people are tying their thatched house thatch with ropes and polythene.
Authorities are gearing up to deal with the possibility of a cyclone 'Prevention' coming up between Tuesday and Thursday in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
