IPL: Delhi beat Hyderabad in final for first time, now battle against Mumbai


Shikhar Dhawan's half-century and Marcus Stoinis' batting and bowling helped Delhi Capitals to a 17-run victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad in the second qualifier in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.

Shikhar Dhawan continued his aggressive batting after Stoinis was out. In which he was accompanied by Shimron Heitmeyer. Captain Iyer was dismissed for 21 off 20 balls after Stoinis was dismissed. But the duo of Dhawan and Hetmeyer batted aggressively to boost the team's score. Dhawan scored another half century. Dhawan hit 78 off 50 balls, including six fours and two sixes. Heitmeyer hit an unbeaten 42 off 22 balls with four fours and a six. Rishabh Pant was not out for two. For Hyderabad, Sandeep Sharma, Jason Holder and Rashid Khan took one wicket each.
