Gorakhpur: It is said that if found, God is also found. This hope was finally found by Sujit from his mother Dulari Gorakhpur after exploring 10 states of the country in about seven years. The policemen also got emotional after seeing this reunion of mother and son.
Dulari Mandal, who lives in Malda, West Bengal, walked out of the house after seeing a dark shadow of grief over the family. About 7 years later he met his son in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. The situation was so emotional that she cried when she saw her son. Dulari Mandal had two sons and a daughter. The youngest son, Sujit, said the father was working in Malda but died in 2008. After this, the responsibility of the family fell on the shoulders of the eldest son.
The eldest son had gone to Panipat in Haryana for livelihood but news of his death came 3 years later. These two big events shook the mother from within. Sujit was working with his sister then. The sister's wedding was scheduled for 2013 but she also died a few days before the wedding. One trauma after another made the mother mentally ill. One day she left home.
Sujit said he had been looking for his mother for the last 7 years. During this time he discovered it in various parts of the country. She continued her search for her mother in 10 states, including Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and the north-eastern states. During this time he did not give up hope of meeting. When the mother and son finally met in Gorakhpur district of UP, people's eyes got wet.
Dulari, who left home, was found in a mentally disturbed condition on Gorakhpur Roadways on August 30. The police handed him over to the Matruchhaya organization. Here he was treated for 4 months by psychiatrist Dr. Abhinav Srivastava. Dulari's condition improved significantly only after 2 months of treatment. Dulari gave his name and address in the first week of November. The police then contacted the concerned police station and informed Sujit from there. Sujit reached Gorakhpur after getting information from his mother. Seven years later the mother and son became emotional seeing each other.
