New Delhi: The country's largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki has recalled 40,453 units of its popular passenger car Eeco. The company has announced the replacement of headlamps made between November 4, 2019 and February 25, 2020.
According to the company, 40,453 Eeco head lamps will be checked to see if they have a standard symbol. They will also be replaced if needed.
The company will contact the car owners through dealers for any car that may have been sold with a head lamp.
Customers can also go to the Imp Customer Info section of Maruti Suzuki's website to find out if they need to replace the lamp in their car based on their car's chassis number.
Earlier, Maruti Suzuki recalled a total of 1,34,885 units of WagonR and Blaeno due to the fuel pump issue.
