New Delhi : PM Modi on Tuesday held a meeting with the Chief Minister of the eight most corona-affected states of India through digital conference. Union Home Minister Amit Shah was also present with the PM. Chief Ministers of Kerala, West Bengal, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh should be present in this meeting.
The Chief Minister of all states expressed his opinion about the corona to the PM. After discussing with the Chief Ministers, PM Narendra Modi addressed the people. He said, India, today, stands well globally in terms of recovery and mortality. A vast network of treatments for treatment is well under way across the country which is being regularly enlarged.
PM Modi told the Chief Ministers that the government is keeping an eye on every vaccine in the world, but still we have to concentrate on being vigilant. PM Modi has asked states to give a plan on vaccine distribution. PM Narendra Modi said, PM-Cayers is also contributing in the fight against Corona.
At the same time, Home Minister Amit Shah said that cases have increased again in Europe and America, so we have to be careful. Amit Shah asked the states to emphasize on social distancing and making masks mandatory. After Amit Shah, giving information about the coming days, the Health Secretary said that Delhi, Kerala, Maharashtra and Rajasthan will have to take special precautions.
With its help, thousands of new ventilators are being made available in hospitals for better treatment. 2,000 crores has been allocated for this. PM said, we need to accelerate our efforts to reduce the spread of the virus. Testing, confirmation, contact tracing and data should be given top priority. We need to bring the positivity rate to at least five per cent.
