Redmi has launched its first smartwatch. With the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 9 5G phones, the curtain has been lifted on Redmi Watch. The smartwatch has a square shaped dial. This watch has all the fitness features. However, this watch has only been launched in the Chinese market and there is no information on its availability in the global market.
The Redmi Watch is priced at 299 Yuan (Rs. 3400) and will go on sale from December 1. The smartwatch will be made available in 269 Chinese Yuan under the Limited Period offer. However, no information about the global launch has been released yet. But the Redmi Watch could also be launched in other markets with the Me Watch Lite.
The Redmi Watch is available in Black, White and Navy Blue. Straps of different colors including pink and green will be available. This smartwatch has a 1.4 inch color HD display with a resolution of 320x320 pixels. A 2.5D glass layer is provided for the safety of the screen. This supports the Me Fit app and users can choose from over 120 watch faces.
The Redmi Watch features 7 sports modes. This includes running, cycling and indoor swimming. This watch will not go bad even if it stays in deep water up to 50 meters. This watch is provided with a heart sensor to monitor the heart 24 hours a day. The watch also offers sleep monitoring, breathing exercises and other alerts. The smartwatch comes with NFC for contactless payments.
This Redmi product claims to have a battery life of up to 7 days. It is claimed that turning on the battery saver mode gives a battery life of 12 days. The Redmi smartwatch has a 230 mAh battery that takes 2 hours to fully charge.
