Cheap plans for Vodafone Idea vs Geo vs Airtel:
Will V's Rs 99 plan compete with Reliance Jio's Rs 129 and Airtel Rs 129 plans? Let's do a little analysis about it.
Speaking of Geo, V's rival, its cheapest plan is Rs. It offers a validity of 28 days. This plan offers 2GB of total data. Also offers unlimited calling from Geo to Geo and 1000 free minutes to other networks. It also offers 300 free SMS and a subscription to Geo apps.
Airtel, on the other hand, is offering a Rs 129 plan directly after its Rs 19 plan. The validity period of this scheme is 24 days. It offers benefits like unlimited calling, 1GB total data and 300 SMS on all networks. It also offers Wing Music, Airtel Extreme and free Halotunes.
Vodafone Idea recently introduced the Weekend Data Rollover benefit for its prepaid users. V has also announced that the new promotional offer will be valid from October 19, 2020 to January 17, 2021.
The Weekend Data Rollover benefit is also said to apply only to Unlimited Prepaid plans of Rs.249 or more.
This benefit will allow users to move all unused data between Monday and Friday until the weekend.
Using the stored data, users can enjoy HD streaming or perform a large number of downloads on weekends. Because they usually only get away from office work on weekends.
However, it should be noted that data collected over the weekend will expire at the end of the weekend.
This 'Weekend Data Rollover' benefit is available to users at no extra cost and as mentioned above you should have recharged with any plan priced at Rs.249 and above.
For example, if a user uses a specific V-plan, through which he gets 2GB of data per day, he used only 1GB out of the 2GB available on Monday and in the next few days, if he uses only the same amount of data, over the weekend, his daily allotment will be downloaded And there will be an additional 5GB of data to stream.
Interestingly V Company does not place any limits on the amount of data that can accumulate over the weekend under this advantage. So, even if a user does not use his data throughout the week, he will benefit from the complete rest of the data over the weekend.
Users can go to the Active Packs & Services section in the Vi mobile app to check the amount of data accumulated under this 'Weekend Data Rollover' benefit. Or you can use the SSD code * 199 # to enable it.
Users under the Double Data Prepaid Plans from Vi will also benefit from this 'Weekend Data Rollover'. It is also worth noting here that if there is a gap between the new recharge with the eligible plan and the expiration of the old plan, the accumulated data will be confiscated.
'Weekend Data Rollover' benefits multiple entry level prepaid plans of Rs.249, Rs.297, Rs.299, Rs.398, Rs.399, Rs.599, Rs.299, Rs.449, Rs.699, Rs.595 V is listed on top prepaid packs including Rs 819, Rs 1197, Rs 2399 and Rs 2595.
