New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY Health Scheme in Jammu and Kashmir through video conferencing. Lt. Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha and Home Minister Amit Shah were also present at the event. On behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lt. Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha distributed e-cards to the beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY Health Scheme in Jammu and Kashmir.
Before the beginning of the plan, Amit Shah said that today is an important day for Jammu and Kashmir, because today is going to be the beginning which will worry about the health of the smallest citizen of Jammu and Kashmir. 15 lakh families will get all the health facilities up to 5 lakh free, this scheme is being started today for every Kashmiri siblings.
The Prime Minister said after the beginning of the plan that today is a historic day for Jammu and Kashmir. All the people of Jammu and Kashmir are going to get the benefit of Ayushman Yojana. Health plan is a big step in itself and I am also very happy to see this step taken for the development of our people of Jammu and Kashmir.
