The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways on Sunday made an important announcement attached to the driving license in view of the Corona virus. The ministry has extended the validity of important documents attached to vehicles, including driving licenses, till March 31, 2021. Thus, if the validity of your driving license as well as vehicle registration documents, vehicle permit and fitness certificate has expired, it will now be considered valid till March 31, 2021. This decision increases the validity of all documents whose validity expires, or has expired, between February 2020 and March 2021.
Government extends validity of documents to 31 December A
few months ago, the government decided to extend the validity of all documents attached to motor vehicles till 31 December 2020 to give a big relief to the general public in view of the Corona crisis. This includes key documents including fitness certificate, driving license , registration certificate (RC).
Relief given to commercial vehicle owners
Sources said that the commercial vehicle owners had appealed to the government to give some more concessions. He suggested to the government that such vehicles should be given a little more relief as they are still not getting on the road due to practical problems. It involves a school bus operator.
