In Hinduism , the pipal tree or plant is considered the most revered because all the parts of this tree are inhabited by deities. Pipla is also known as Vishwavriksha, Chaitya Vriksha and Vasudeva. In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna Himself says, 'I am the one who grows in the trees'. At the base of the pipe is the abode of Lord Brahma, at the trunk or middle part is the abode of Lord Vishnu and at the front of the pipe is the abode of Lord Shiva. At the same time, the Skanda Purana says that Lord Vishnu resides in the root of the pipla, Keshav in the trunk or middle part, Narayana in the branches, Lord Srihari in the leaves and all the deities in the fruit.
The Atharva Veda and the Chandogyopanishad describe the paradise of the gods under the pipal tree. That is why it is believed that whoever worships the pipal tree according to any ritual, all his desires are fulfilled. While anyone who does not worship the pipe according to these rules has to suffer for life.

Where watering a pipal tree on Saturday is considered very auspicious, if a person waters a pipal tree on Sunday, his life becomes miserable. Therefore, watering should not be done on pipal trees on Sundays.
