The JEE Main examination to be held for admission in various engineering colleges across the country will be held 4 times in the year 2021. The exam will be held every month from February to May at different examination centers across the country. Apart from that, this year the exam will be given in 13 languages.
The MHRD has instructed the National Testing Agency to prepare for the test in at least 13 languages. The languages include Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Oriya, Malayalam, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
The exam was held 2 times before
Earlier, the JEE MAIN exam was held twice. Besides, before this, besides English and Hindi, JEE exam was also taken in Gujarati. It may be recalled that Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank had said in October that the JEE examination would also be conducted in regional languages.
Also consider raising Multiple Choice questions
In a webinar last day, the education minister said that the coronavirus infection has affected the education of students this time. Therefore, the government is considering raising multiple choice questions to reduce the stress of students in JEE exams.
Registration for 2021 also started
Registration for JEE 2021 exam has started. Interested and eligible candidates can register online by visiting the official website of the department. All the steps of registration are given on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
