Never keep so many idols of Ganapati in the temple of the house, know its rules

Many people keep an idol of God in a small temple in their house.
In many cases more than one idol is also placed in the temple. However, according to the scriptures, the house should have as few idols as possible in the temple. Because the rules associated with each God are different. It is very difficult to follow all the rules. Worship does not succeed in that, and its expected fruit is not obtained. So that as few idols as possible should be kept in the temple of the house.

It is considered extremely auspicious to have Lord Ganesha in the house, who is the first to be remembered on auspicious occasions. However, there are some things to keep in mind while keeping the idol of Ganapati in the house. Especially those who have more than one idol of Ganapati in their house, big or small, should take special care of some things.

The idol of Ganapati in the house should never be in one number, meaning three, five or seven. Instead it should always be kept in odd numbers. Similarly, if you keep Shivling at home, it also has some rules. According to the scriptures, the size of the Shivling kept in the house should not be more than the first part of our thumb. The Shivling is a symbol of energy, and large Shivlings can only be kept in temples.

The idol of Maa Durga should never be kept in the house. You can keep three or more idols of Goddess in the temple of your house if you wish. There are also some rules for keeping an idol of Hanumanji. The most important thing is that there should be only one idol of Hanumanji in the temple of the house. There are also rules for their worship, which must be followed.

There should not be more than one idol of a babysitter in the house. The child-like image of Lord Krishna does not even require prana-pratishta. It is considered self-accomplished, so it can be placed in the house without prana-pratishta.
