ADELAIDE: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has shared two videos on its social media a day before the four-Test Border-Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia starting on Thursday. The video shows Indian captain Virat Kohli and former Australia captain Steve Smith talking. Smith learned of the incident from Kohli, who opposed the audience's hooting during the World Cup during the conversation.
"You people made a mistake," the Indian captain said. You all had to repent of your mistake. You landed on the field after a long time and faced opposition from the audience. I believe that it is not always appropriate to target a single person for one thing. Nothing is permanent.
It is noteworthy that during the match between India and Australia during the 2019 World Cup, the spectators called Steve Smith's hurricane. But Kohli told the audience not to do so by gesture. Steve Smith was banned for a year for tampering with the ball during the 2018 Test in South Africa. In addition to Smith, David Warner was also banned for a year.
