Melbourne: Australia's ODI and T20 cricket captain Aaron Finch has warned his team ahead of the first Test against India. Finch wants the players of the host team to control their feud with Indian captain Virat Kohli. Finch said Kohli could be more lethal if provoked. There has always been fierce competition between India and Australia and there have been disputes and controversies between the players of both the teams in every series.
So Kohli can be more ruthless
Finch said there are sometimes conflicts during the match and both teams have some players who get upset sometimes. But it needs to be controlled. You don't want a conflict with Virat Kohli. When Kohli is provoked he becomes more lethal against the rival team. It is to be noted that in 2018-19, when both the teams faced this, there was a conflict between the captain of both the teams, Kohli and Tim Payne.
The first test will start from 17th, this will be a day-night test
The first Test between India and Australia will start on December 17. The Test match in Adelaide will be a day-night test. India have played only one day-night Test so far. India played their first day-night Test against Bangladesh at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata last year. Now India will play Day-Night Test for the first time on foreign soil. A four-Test series will be played between India and Australia.
Virat Kohli is currently calming down
"There is a lot of change in Kohli right now," Finch said. In my opinion as a person he stays very light on the field and understands the intensity of the match well. "One of the things that amazes me is that he has the right tactics and preparation before playing against any team," said Finch, who has played for Royal Challengers Bangalore under Kohli's captaincy. But he focuses more on his team than the rival team. He has full confidence in the team he chooses as captain. It gives each player time.
