Lahore's AQI reaches 423
According to the list, the particulate matter (PM) rating in Lahore was 423 according to the Air Pollution Index. Karachi, the economic capital of Pakistan, was ranked seventh in the AQI. New Delhi, the capital of India, was in second place with 229 AQI. Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, was the third most polluted city. Where PM 178 was reported.
AQI protected within 50
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency considers AQI within 50 to be satisfactory. Lahore's AQI remained in the range of 301 and above which is considered dangerous.
