Big news: LPG Gas Cylinder becomes cheaper, new rate applicable from April 1

It has been decided to cut the price of LPG on the first day of the new financial year.
Indian Oil Corporation said that it has decided to cut the price of LPG cylinders by 10 rupees. The new price will be applicable from 1 April. Earlier, trusted government sources had said that along with petrol and diesel, the rate of LPG gas will also fall. Sources say that the price of crude oil is falling again in the international market. This is the reason that the price of these products will fall. Petrol and diesel rates have fallen three times in the last one week.

Currently, the price of 14.2 kg non-subsidized gas cylinders is Rs 819 in Delhi, Rs 845.50 in Kolkata, Rs 819 in Mumbai and Rs 835 in Chennai. After the price cut, from April 1 this rate will be reduced to Rs 809 in Delhi, Rs 835.50 in Kolkata, Rs 809 in Mumbai and Rs 825 in Chennai.

Gas cylinders have become costlier by Rs 125 in the last two months

The price of cooking gas has only risen for some time. In the month of February and March, the price of LPG has increased by 125 rupees. On February 4, the price jumped by Rs 25, after that on February 15, the price jumped by Rs 50, after that on February 25, again rose by 25 rupees and on March 1, again by 25 rupees.

Crude oil price is continuously falling

For some time, the price of crude oil has been seen falling. In the international market, it was trading at a level of $ 64. In the initial week of March it reached $ 71. Government sources said that the calculation of the price of petrol and diesel in retail depends on the rate of crude oil. In such a situation, it will be cheaper in the coming days. Petrol and diesel rates reached an all-time high in the month of February. Its rate has fallen by more than 60 paise in the last one week.

Trend Decline

According to the current trend, the rate will only fall. There is no possibility of accelerating it right now. Petrol and diesel rates are based on the rolling average of benchmark fuel rates of 15 days, while the LPG rate changes on the first of every month.
