LIC's cornerstone policy is a better option for saving fat with good coverage to protect the future. In this, a fixed amount is paid to the insured at maturity. On the other hand, if the person dies earlier, financial support is provided to your family. In this policy, you can get lakhs of rupees even by saving just 29 rupees per day.
Who can take policy
LIC's cornerstone policy is for women only. It can be taken by women from 8 to 55 years. In this, regular premium has to be paid. The policy term is for 10 to 20 years. The minimum insured amount in this is 75,000 rupees.
You can get four lakh rupees on maturity
If a woman takes a policy at the age of 31 and has a term of 20 years, then the first year's premium with 4.5 per cent tax will have to be paid at Rs 10,959. Whereas it will be Rs 10,723 after the first year premium with 2.25 per cent. Therefore, you have to save Rs 29 per day. In this case, a total of 214696 rupees will have to be deposited. You can deposit premium on monthly, quarterly or half yearly basis. After 20 years, you will get more than 3 lakhs on maturity.
There is also the facility to cancel the policy
LIC gives an additional time of 15 to 30 days to pay the premium for the Aadharshila policy. If you want to cancel the policy, then there is also an option. After taking the plan, you can cancel it within 15 days.
