Importance of Sita Navami 2021

On this day, Mata Sita, who is the incarnation of Mata Lakshmi, was born in Pushya Nakshatra. According to Hindu mythology, when Janaka, the king of Mithila, was plowing the land to perform a yajna, he found a baby girl in a gold basket. Since he had no children, he adopted the daughter and named her Sita. Also, since she is the daughter of King Janak, she is widely known as Janaki.

However, this time due to Corona epidemic, it is banned to celebrate any kind of festival in public, but you can celebrate this festival at your home. As far as fasting is concerned, you can keep it very easily at home and can call Mother Sita. On this day, along with Mother Sita, you should also worship Lord Shri Ram. It blesses you both.
