These are the signs of blood clotting, keep these things in mind after getting the Corona vaccine

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has issued an advisory for health care workers and those taking the Corona Vaccine regarding the side effects of the vaccine, with people receiving thrombo embolic or blood clotting within 20 days of vaccination. ) Has been appealed to identify such symptoms.
The Ministry has said that if there is a serious symptom after taking the vaccine, then immediately go to the nearest vaccination center or where they have been vaccinated and file a complaint.

This advisory is especially for those who are being given the Covishield vaccine from the Serum Institute (SII), as many countries have raised concerns over reports of blood clots from AstraZeneca's vaccine (Covishield). The main symptoms include shortness of breath, pain in the chest or body, multiple pinhead-shaped red spots or bruises in the injected area or elsewhere, persistent abdominal pain. Earlier last month, AIIMS chief Dr. Randeep Guleria had told that the chances of blood clotting among the youngsters is very low due to the use of Kovishield.

These symptoms include-

  1. Shortness of breath / shortness of breath
  2. Chest pain
  3. Pain in different organs / pain on the limbs or swelling in the limbs
  4. If there are red spots on any part of the body other than the injection site (where the injection is performed)
  5. Persistent abdominal pain with or without vomiting
  6. Constant headache with or without vomiting
  7. Feeling of weakness in any part of the body or any part of the body (including the face)
  8. Vomiting continuously for no apparent reason
  9. Blurred vision or eye pain or double vision
  10. Mental state changes or confusion or depression
  11. Any other symptom or health condition that is of concern to the vaccinee or their family.

Thrombo embolic is a condition in which a blood clot is formed inside a vein somewhere in the body. Thrombo embolic occurs mostly in the lower leg or thigh, although it can sometimes occur in other parts of the body. Blood clot is accumulated blood which can shift to other places along with the blood.

'Very low blood clotting cases in India'

Meanwhile, the National Adverse Event Following Immunization Committee (AEFI), the national committee on the serious side effects of the vaccine, submitted a report to the Ministry of Health on Monday, stating that the corona vaccine in India may have been affected by bleeding or bleeding. Cases such as clotting are very rare and very few cases of blood clots can be associated with vaccination of Covishield. The research panel said that as many cases were found as was thought, which is not a serious matter.

'Less Side Effects of Vaccine, More Benefits'

The panel also said that no possible thrombo embolic cases have been reported in Covaxin made by Bharat Biotech. Earlier in March, the vaccine made by Oxford AstraZeneca has been banned after complaints of blood clots from several countries in Europe. However, EU and British regulators said that most countries have resumed their use of the vaccine, as the benefits of the vaccine far outweigh its disadvantages or side effects.
