New Delhi: In the country today, more than 80 lakh people were given corona vaccine in a single day. This is the first time since the start of vaccination that such a large-scale vaccine has been administered in a day. Regarding this, PM Modi has described it as joyful. When a record number of doses were administered, PM Modi said that the vaccine is the strongest weapon in the fight against the epidemic.
More than 80 lakh doses of anti-Covid vaccine were administered till Monday evening after the revised guidelines for vaccination came into effect. PM Modi tweeted, "The record number of vaccinations done today is heartening. The vaccine remains our strongest weapon in the fight against Kovid-19.
Congratulations to those who got vaccinated and all those frontline workers who worked hard to ensure vaccination of so many people deserve praise. Fantastic India." Earlier, more than 48 lakh doses of anti-Covid vaccine were administered on April 1.
