OnePlus Watch Cobalt Limited Edition, the premium OnePlus Watch variant, has finally been announced for the Indian market. This new smartwatch of OnePlus will be available for prebooking from 7th July i.e. today. The open sale of the OnePlus Watch Cobalt Limited Edition will begin on July 16 and will be available on the company's online store, OnePlus Store app, and OnePlus Experience stores.
The OnePlus Watch Cobalt Limited Edition comes with a custom watch face and sports sapphire glasses for this model, on which the company has claimed to increase the brightness. During the launch of the OnePlus Watch in March, the company revealed that the OnePlus Watch Cobalt Limited Variant is the first smartwatch to use cobalt in its medium frame, which is said to be twice as hard as stainless steel.
The company says that the OnePlus Watch Cobalt Limited Variant is corrosion-resistant and nickel-free to reduce skin allergies. The OnePlus Watch Cobalt Limited variant has been launched for Rs 19,999, while the regular OnePlus Watch model continues to retail for Rs 14,999.

Customers can pre-book the smartwatch for Rs 1,000 from July 7 to July 10 through the OnePlus.in and OnePlus Store apps. The company says that pre-booking customers will be notified about the availability of the smartwatch via email and the OnePlus Store app. OnePlus says that customers making prebooking will have to complete the payment between July 12-14.
As a launch offer, OnePlus has announced an instant discount of Rs 1,000 on OnePlus Watch using HDFC Bank cards and EMI transactions till September 15.
What's special in OnePlus Watch Cobalt Limited Variant
The smartwatch flaunts a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with 454×454 pixel screen resolution and 326PPI pixel density. The Cobalt Limited Edition comes with a vegan leather strap with butterfly buckle and comes with optical heart rate and blood oxygen sensors. The smartwatch has a 402mAh battery, which gives a battery backup of up to 14 days.
Other features include night sleep detection, message notifications and GPS. The smartwatch also comes with IP68 certification, which makes it water and dust resistant.
