Mera Pani, Meri Virasat Yojana: Apart from the central government, the state governments also run various schemes for the farmers. In which financial help is given to the farmers. Today we will discuss here about the financial help being given by the Haryana government for the farmers of our state. Under this scheme, the Haryana government is giving financial assistance of Rs 7,000 to the farmers of the state. Actually, the water level is decreasing at many places in Haryana. Due to this, the farmers of the state have to spend extra for irrigation. Keeping this in mind, the state government has started this scheme for the farmers.
The name of this scheme is Mera Pani, Meri Visarat Yojana. To take advantage of this scheme, you can register till July 31. The government has said that farmers should save water for the coming generation for the promotion of their state and to conserve water.
Financial help of Rs 7,000 will be available
Under Mera Pani Meri Virasat scheme, the state government is providing financial assistance of Rs 7,000 per acre to farmers for irrigating maize, paddy, tur, cotton. In return, they can plant crops with less water. In which bajra, sisam, gram flour moong etc. have been included. To save water, 80 percent subsidy will be given by the government for micro irrigation.
Till when can apply
To take advantage of this scheme, any farmer of Haryana can register till July 31. This scheme was started by the state government on 6 May. It is necessary to clarify here that only farmers of Haryana can take benefit of this scheme.
