In Hinduism, along with the purity of the mind of a person, the importance of purity of the body has also been told and it has been said about regular bathing and worship. Taking bath removes all the impurities from our body and the body remains protected from many diseases. Apart from this, bathing also refreshes the mind along with the body, due to which the person feels a lot of energy and is able to do any other work in a better way.
But some people are very lazy in the matter of bathing. In the winter season, they always find some excuse to not take a bath, which is wrong according to their health. In the scriptures, some special dates are considered very sacred and it has been said to bathe on these dates in any case, otherwise the person becomes a participant in sin. Know about those important dates here.
It is very important to take bath on these two dates.
Poornamasi- Purnima Tithi is also known as Poornamasi. This day is the day of worship of Lord Vishnu and bathing on this day has special significance. Many people go for a bath in the holy rivers on the full moon day. If you cannot go to the rivers, then at least take a bath at home. It is believed that due to lack of cleanliness on the full moon day, Goddess Lakshmi gets angry. In such a situation, money does not last in the family and expenses keep on increasing. If you want to get the blessings of Lord Shree Narayan and Goddess Lakshmi, then definitely take a bath on the full moon date.
Amavasya - This date is considered to be associated with ancestors. On this day people do poojan etc. to get the blessings of ancestors. That is why everyone must take a bath on the new moon day. It is believed that those who do not do this become part of the anger of the ancestors. Many problems start coming in their life. Diseases start to surround, there are financial losses and the work being done also gets spoiled. Therefore, take a bath on Amavasya Tithi.
These dates are also important
Chaturthi, Ekadashi, Trayodashi Tithi and Chaturdashi Tithi of Krishna Paksha are also considered to be very holy dates of both Shukla Paksha and Krishna Paksha. The Chaturthi date of every month is considered dedicated to Lord Ganapati. The best fast of Lord Vishnu is kept on the day of Ekadashi. On this day some rules are followed with cleanliness. Pradosh Vrat dedicated to Lord Shiva is observed on Trayodashi Tithi and monthly Shivaratri is observed on Chaturdashi Tithi of Krishna Paksha. All these dates are considered very sacred. After bathing in these, one should meditate on God with full devotion.
