Ban on 16 Indian pharmaceutical companies including paracetamol injection manufacturers in Nepal, LIST

Nepal has banned 16 Indian pharmaceutical companies. These companies can no longer export their products to Nepal. It has been said that these companies have not followed the Good Manufacturing Practices laid down by the WHO

Nepal's Drug Administration Department has released a list of 16 Indian pharmaceutical companies that have failed to comply with World Health Organization (WHO) regulations. In this list is the name of Divya Pharmacy, which manufactures Patanjali products of yoga guru Ramdev. Releasing this list means that medicines manufactured by these companies cannot be imported into Nepal. It has been said that these companies do not follow the good manufacturing practice of WHO. It is worth noting that Radiant Parenterals Limited is also named in the list which manufactures Paracetamol injection.

Department spokesman Santosh KC said that the pharmaceutical companies which had applied to export their products to our country. After this their manufacturing facility was inspected. After which we published a list of companies that do not follow WHO's Good Manufacturing Practices.

In the months of April and July, a team of drug inspectors was sent to India to check the manufacturing facilities of the pharmaceutical companies. These companies had applied to supply their products to Nepal.

These companies are included in the list

Apart from Divya Pharmacy and Radiant Parenterals Ltd, the list also includes Mercury Laboratories Ltd, Alliance Biotech, Captab Biotech, Agglomed Ltd, Zee Laboratories Ltd, Daffodils Pharmaceuticals Ltd, GLS Pharma Ltd, Unijules Life Science Ltd, Concept Pharmaceuticals Pvt, Shree Anand Life Sciences Ltd , IPCA Laboratories Ltd., Cadila Healthcare Ltd., Dial Pharmaceuticals, Agglomed Ltd. and Macur Laboratories Ltd. are the names.

Apart from this, a list of 46 drug manufacturing companies has also been published. These have been found to comply with WHO's Good Manufacturing Practices.
