Ingredients to make cashew chutney
Cashew – 1/4 cup
Chana dal – 1/2 tbsp
Urad dal – 1/2 tbsp
Ginger – 1/2 inch piece
Curry leaves – 8-10
Green chilies – 2
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Oil - 2 tsp
Salt - as per taste
Method of making cashew chutney
To make cashew chutney rich in taste and nutrition, first heat 2 teaspoons of oil in a pan and heat it on medium flame. When the oil becomes hot, add chopped ginger, green chillies, chana dal and urad dal and sauté everything on low flame for 1 to 2 minutes. After this, add cashews to the pan and roast them while stirring until the color of the cashews turns light pink. After this put curry leaves and turn off the gas.
Now take out all the ingredients in a big bowl and keep it to cool for some time. When the ingredients cool down, put them in a mixer jar. After this mix lemon juice and salt as per taste. Now add water as required in the mixer and grind all the things till they become coarse. In this way, our cashew chutney full of taste and energy is ready. Take it out in a serving bowl. Cashew chutney can be served with breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks.
