Raj Kundra Obscenity Case News: In the case of making pornography content and spreading obscenity, Raj Kundra, husband of actress Shilpa Shetty, has got a big relief from the Supreme Court . Apart from them, relief news has also come for the accused actresses Poonam Pandey, Sherlyn Chopra and Umesh Kamat in the case. The country's biggest court has given anticipatory bail to all the accused in this case. The court has said that all the accused should cooperate in the investigation and join the investigation if required.
In this case, in February this year, actress Sherlyn Chopra got a big relief from the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court had stayed the arrest of Sherlyn Chopra. Earlier, the Supreme Court had also put an interim stay on the arrest of Raj Kundra and Poonam Pandey. In an FIR related to the case, Sherlyn has been made an accused along with actress Poonam Pandey.
Chargesheet was filed last month
Last month, the Mumbai Cybercrime Police had filed a charge sheet running into more than 1000 pages in the court against all the accused including Raj Kundra in the matter of making pornography content. In this charge sheet police had claimed that Raj Kundra had shot pornography content in the hotel and it was streamed on different OTT platforms to earn money. It was said that Raj Kundra had shot the film with Poonam Pandey, Sherlyn Chopra.
What did Raj Kundra's lawyer say?
On the news of filing of charge sheet, Raj Kundra's lawyer had said that he came to know about it only from the media. He said that he will appear in the court as per the law and will take a copy of the charge sheet. During this, the lawyer had also said that my client has nothing to do with the allegations being mentioned in the FIR and media reports.
Let us tell you that Raj Kundra had to go to jail after getting caught in this case. Raj was arrested in July and got bail two months later.
