It is a recombinant replication-deficient adenovirus vectored vaccine with pre-fusion stabilized spike protein.
Explain that the price of iNCOVACC has been fixed at Rs 325 for bulk purchase by the state governments and the Government of India. This will be India's first nasal vaccine, which can be taken as a booster dose, its trial has been completed. It was trialled at 14 places in the country in which 3100 people participated. In the beginning of December, permission was given to bring the nasal vaccine of Bharat Biotech to the market. This vaccine has been designed in such a way that it can reach the common people with less money. The nasal vaccine has been named iNCOVACC.

Bharat Biotech's Executive Chairman Dr. Krishna Illa said that India has found another better option for Prakashari Dose. This will help in the immunization of a large number of people simultaneously. This is such a vaccine, in which there will be no pain of any kind and it is believed to be effective. In this people will not be given a dose but two drops like polio. It can be stored from 2 degree to 8 degree centigrade. Its storage has been arranged in some other parts of the country including Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Telangana.
How to book online appointment for iNCOVACC
Like Covishield and Covaxin vaccines, you will have to book an appointment to get this nasal vaccine.
Booking for appointments can be done from 23 December 2022 through the CoWIN website and app.
First of all go to https://www.cowin.gov.in/ .
Register mobile number to login.
If you are already registered here, login using OTP.
After login to CoWIN, search for schedule option.
Here you can search vaccination center using pincode or district name in two ways.
After that choose the center as per your choice.
Select your preferred date and time for the nasal vaccine booster dose.
Then confirm your vaccination slot.
After this you will have to pay for the booking of iNCOVACC.
After the payment is done, your slot for iNCOVACC will be booked.
These people will be eligible for nasal vaccine
Explain that iNCOVACC will work as a booster dose. It is now available to all through private vaccination centres. Anyone who has been given both doses of the Covid vaccine will be eligible for the dose of the nasal vaccine. However like the Covishield and Covaxin vaccines, one will need to book an appointment to receive the vaccine.
