We are aware of the danger of Corona, did mock drill to test the preparedness - Health Minister Mansukh

The Health Ministry asked all the big hospitals of the country to check the reality of the hospital infrastructure. Teams were prepared for this. Minister of State for Health Dr. Bharti was sent to the hospital in Port Blair, Andaman.

In some countries including China , there is a situation of alert in almost every state in the country amid the ever-increasing cases of corona virus . A mock drill was conducted on Tuesday to assess the preparedness including availability of beds and medical personnel in some hospitals of the capital in case of increase in corona cases across the country due to possible epidemic . This mock drill was conducted across the country. On the mock drill, Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya said that we are aware of the danger of corona, in such a situation, this mock drill is being done to improve our preparations.

Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya said that 'Mock drill is being organized today in all Kovid hospitals across the country. There are not many cases of corona in the country right now, but PM Modi has asked us to be careful. The government is also making preparations, if Kovid cases increase somewhere, then people can get proper treatment. He said that the cases of corona may increase in the coming days. That's why this mock drill is necessary in such a situation.

review of hospital infrastructure

According to the sources of the Union Health Ministry, in the first and second wave of Corona, the Government of India has set up a huge health infrastructure. After the Kovid cases were reduced, this infrastructure was shifted to the general hospital for the patients. The purpose of such mock drill is also that if needed, how the infrastructure of that hospital can be shifted for Covid.

More precaution in tourist place

The Union Health Ministry has asked to take more precaution at all the major tourist places of the country, which include Goa, Port Blair, Shimla, Kullu and Manali. Along with this, a detailed report has also been asked to be sent from the places where the mock drill is being conducted. So that it can be known where and what is lacking.
