India's daughter will show her strength in maneuvers abroad, will become the first IAF woman pilot to do so

Squadron Leader Avni Chaturvedi of the Indian Air Force is the first woman fighter pilot in the country to be a part of aerial maneuvers on foreign soil.

A woman fighter pilot of the Indian Air Force has been included in the Indian contingent for the air exercise to be held outside India. This is the first time that a female fighter pilot has got a chance to be a part of air maneuvers abroad. Women officers of the IAF have been participating in exercises with foreign contingents visiting India including the French Air Force. But this will be the first time, when a daughter of India will represent her country on foreign soil. Recently, two women pilots also participated in the war exercise with the French Air Force.

Squadron Leader Avni Chaturvedi, one of the first three women fighter pilots of India, is going to participate in the air exercise. For this, she will soon leave for Japan. Squadron Leader Avni Chaturvedi is a Sukhoi Su-30MKI pilot. The air exercise has been named 'Veer Guardian 2023'. These maneuvers will be carried out from January 16 to January 26 at Hyakura Airbase in Omitama, Japan and its surrounding airfields and Iruma Air Base in Sayama.

Su-30MKi was told the deadliest aircraft

Squadron Leader Bhawana Kanth, a batchmate of Avani Chaturvedi and part of the trio of first women fighter pilots in the IAF, termed the Su-30MKI operated by the IAF as one of the best and deadliest aircraft equipped with indigenous weapon systems. He said, 'The Su-30MKi is a versatile multirole combat aircraft that can simultaneously carry out both air-to-ground and air-to-air missions.'

Speaking to news agency ANI, Squadron Leader Bhavna said, 'The special thing about this aircraft is that it can perform maneuvers at both high speed and low speed. Due to filling a lot of fuel in it, very long distance missions can also be carried out. Also it has a very long endurance.

Squadron Leader Bhavna said that this aircraft is the latest and easily integrates any latest weapon. Because of this, it can easily execute the mission. At the same time, when she was asked how she felt as a female pilot. On this he said that the aircraft does not know whether it is being flown by a man or a woman. She is feeling proud to be a part of the Air Force.
