Kanjhawala incident: Family adamant on not cremating the dead body without seeing the post mortem report!

The victim's family was adamant that without seeing the post-mortem report, the body would not be cremated. Now this has become a new headache for the local police. Helpless in front of the insistence of the family, the police is unable to understand

A new twist came on Monday night in the incident of the alleged killing of a 20-year-old girl in Kanjhawala area of Delhi's Sultanpuri . When the family was adamant that without seeing the post mortem report, the body would not be cremated. Now this has become a new headache for the local police. Helpless in front of the insistence of the family, the police is not able to understand that, now what way or jugaad can they find so that the last rites of the girl should be done quickly by the family even before the post mortem report comes. So that later whatever the postmortem report may be or whatever keeps coming, the police will deal with all the headaches after that. Because then the dead body of the girl would have been cremated after the postmortem.

If the victim's family is not satisfied with the post mortem report, then they can sit on the road with the dead body. If this happens, the outer Delhi district police will face another problem of handling law and order in such a situation. This was the reason that the police was sitting waiting for the fact that, after the post-mortem, she was trying to get the dead body of the girl cremated from the family as soon as possible. Not only this, on Monday, the victim's family even said that a statement by the Outer Delhi District DCP has broken them badly. Due to which the family has started seeing the difference between the words and actions of the Delhi Police. That's why now the family wants that they will perform the last rites of the dead body only after seeing and reading the postmortem report. Otherwise, after cremating the dead body, the police will do whatever they want.

The demand of the victim's family is that the accused should be given strict punishment.

Actually, all these things were told by the relatives of the victims present outside the Forensic Science Department (Post Mortem House) of Maulana Medical College, Delhi. A relative said that the family requests the Prime Minister of the country and the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi that the five accused should be punished severely. Along with this, we have also decided not to cremate the dead body till the post mortem report is received. The relatives said that they have also urged the Chief Minister of Delhi in this regard. So that, the victim and the victim's family can get justice. Some members of the victim's family present outside the post-mortem house said that this is not the time for politics. It is time to stand shoulder to shoulder with a victimized and ruined family and get justice for him.

Victim's family upset with DCP's statement

The family members were upset with the statement of Harendra Kumar Singh, DCP of Outer Delhi district, in which he had said that the girl and her scooty got trapped inside the car while the accused were fleeing. Which the accused did not even know. The family members said that the DCP is also speaking the language of the accused. Which a police officer has no right to speak before the completion of the investigation. It seems that the police is moving ahead blindly by giving prominence only to the statements of the accused. Not that the police is investigating this with a keen eye at their level.

It is necessary to mention here that, even though the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Vinay Kumar Saxena may have become emotional in this matter. He has also shared his pain with the common man through his statement. But from the very beginning, the attitude of the Delhi Police was seen to be evasive. The police was determined to wrap it up by limiting it only to road accidents. When the people of Delhi came out on the streets and the victim's family was seen flying against the police, then the police swung into action and added the section of culpable homicide not amounting to death in the case.
