Indian IT sector giant Infosys has fired about 600 employees. According to reports, the company has taken this action for not passing the internal fresher assessment test. According to a Business Today report, a fresher told him that he had joined the company in August last year. And he was given training for SAP ABAP stream. He told that out of a team of 150 people, only 60 people passed the exam. And everyone else was fired from the job.
Employees failed in assessment test
The employee told that out of the last batch, around 85 freshers were fired after failing the test. According to reports, 600 employees have been fired only after failing in the internal test. Two weeks back, 208 freshers were fired after faking a test. In total, 600 employees have been fired for failing the test in the last few months.

Startup companies in India have also seen layoffs on a large scale. Company's attrition rate dropped
Infosys' attrition rate has also come down in the third quarter of the current financial year. It has come down to 24.3 percent. Which was 27.1 percent in the previous quarter and 28.4 percent in April-June. The total number of employees of the company has increased to 3,46,845, which was earlier 3,45,218. In this way, a total of 1,627 new people are associated with the company.
In October last year, Infosys had become the fourth largest company in the country by market value. The company has achieved this position by leaving HUL behind.
