Indian Army soldiers worked day and night to save earthquake victims, people of Turkey said- Thank you Hindustan

The Indian Army has set up a field hospital for earthquake victims in Turkey, in which a team of jawans is working day and night.

After the severe earthquake in Turkey , the Indian Army has started a field hospital in Hatay where people suffering from earthquake are being treated. This hospital was set up within just 6 hours despite such a horrific devastation. The hospital is being run continuously for 24 hours and the injured are being treated. Let us tell you that there was a severe earthquake in Turkey and Syria in the early hours of last Monday, due to which more than 28 thousand people have died here.

Thousands of people are still feared buried under the debris in Turkey. Rescue teams are trying day and night to save people buried under the debris despite the temperature being around 0 degrees. World Health Organization Chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has warned that thousands of people who are still buried in the rubble will have to hurry to get them out, otherwise time is slipping out of hand.

A platoon of 96 Indian Army personnel has also been stationed here to provide medical aid inside the 60 Para Field Headquarters. Lieutenant Colonel Yaduveer Singh, who is the commanding officer of 60 Para Field Hospital, said during a discussion with a media channel that, 'At least 800 injured have been treated in the hospital so far.' Colonel Singh also said that he is ready to treat people here as long as it is needed.

Indian doctors have done 10 major surgeries so far

Apart from these, Lieutenant Colonel Adarsh, the second command of the field hospital, told that he has so far done 10 major surgeries in the hospital. During this, many people in Turkey have openly praised this spirit of the Indian Army. After treatment, a patient said, 'Thank you Hindustan. We appreciate that they are with us. We are happy because they are here. Earlier this week, a picture had surfaced in which a Turkish woman was seen hugging and kissing a female soldier of the Indian Army. This post was shared by the Additional Directorate General of Public Information of the Indian Army. While sharing this post, he wrote, 'We care.'
