Rakesh Tikait: Farmer's movement returns to Delhi from next month, thousands of farmers will surround the city; Rakesh Tikait announced the date

Rakesh Tikait Announcement of New Kisan Andolan in Delhi: Rakesh Tikait, the leader of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (Tikait faction), who came into discussion across the country due to the farmers' movement in Delhi, is in form again. He has once again announced to lay siege to Delhi in the name of farmers' issues. They will do this gherao themselves on the strength of their organization and farmers' organizations of Punjab will have no role in this. Tikait has given a clear warning that if an attempt is made to stop him, the Center and the UP government will have to bear the brunt of it. He was speaking at the organization's mahapanchayat organized in Muzaffarnagar on Friday.

'Meters will not be allowed to be installed on tube wells'

In the mahapanchayat, BKU spokesperson Rakesh Tikait announced that he would not allow electricity meters to be installed on the tube wells of farmers at any cost, nor would they allow 10-year-old tractors to be stopped. He warned the government that what to call the PAC, call the army, but no electricity meter will be installed at any farmer's place. Tikait said that the tractor is the fighter jet of the farmers and they will not let it stop under any circumstances. If the government wants, they can file cases against them, but they are not going to bow down from it.

'Gherao of Delhi again from March 20'

Rakesh Tikait said that the policy of Nagpur is going on in the country and not of the people. Preparations are being made to take away the lands of the farmers by wrongly acquiring the land. The government is reducing the budget on agriculture and is talking about not giving MSP-loan to the farmers. He said that the time has come for the farmers to take to the streets once again on all these issues. The farmer's movement will be started again in Delhi from 20 March under the leadership of United Kisan Morcha. For this, all the farmers have to be ready for a long battle of up to 20 years.

'The fight will continue till MSP is received'

National President of BKU Naresh Tikait said that the price of sugarcane should be increased. Arrangements should be made to stop stray animals. Regarding all these issues, farmers from all over the country will once again come out in Delhi to raise their voice. He warned that the farmers' agitation is not over yet and its second phase will start from March 20. This fight will continue till the farmers do not get MSP.

'Farmers are not on the agenda of the government'

National General Secretary of the organization Yudhveer Singh said that farmers are nowhere in the agenda of this government. The government had talked about doubling the income of the farmers 6 years ago, but instead of increasing, it has decreased more than before. Government properties are being sold. Preparations are being made to attach the lands of the farmers. Now the government has given a new tingle to make the country a superpower by 2047.
