New rules apply for drivers

A new rule has been thrown out for the drivers in Delhi. In fact, non-compliance of this rule applicable to auto rickshaw and taxi drivers may lead to heavy fines. On Monday, the Transport Department of the Delhi Government has given its verdict in this regard and has appealed to all to follow the rules.

Which rule applies to drivers?

It has been made mandatory for auto and taxi drivers to wear uniform while on duty. That is, now the dress code has been implemented for them, whose violation will be fined. Actually, the G20 ceremony is going to be held in Delhi, in view of which the dress code has been made mandatory for all auto and taxi drivers.

How much will be the penalty for violation?

The accused may have to pay a fine of up to Rs 10,000 for the violation. Driving license and vehicle registration can also be canceled if someone is caught violating the rule more than once. Keep this in mind and avoid violating the rule.
