Trans Man going to give birth soon, this special preparation after delivery

Trans man Sahad stopped the medical process of becoming a trans man to become pregnant. While his transgender partner Jia says that he is continuing the process of becoming a girl from a boy.

A new history is soon going to be made in Kerala as a transgender couple here is going to become parents in a few days. About two years ago, Sahad (23) and Jiya Paval (21), a transgender couple living in Kozhikode, started the process of their gender transition . But early last year, Sahad stopped the process of becoming a trans man midway to become the first parent .

Sahad, who is going to become a boy from a girl, is pregnant for eight months now and is preparing for delivery soon. Now he is planning to continue the process of sex change after delivery.

Classical dance teacher Jiya Pawal told The Indian Express, “When we started living together around three years ago, we thought that our life should be different from that of other transgenders. Most of the transgender couples are ostracized from the family as well as the society.” He said that we wanted a child, so that after our days in this world are numbered, we can leave something behind.

Then when will love become a boy from a girl

Paval, 21, said, “Our journey to become a trans man and a trans woman will continue. I am currently undergoing hormone treatment to become a trans woman. Six months or a year after the delivery, Sahad will also start his treatment again to become a trans man.”

Sahad and Paval have been living together as a transgender couple for the last three years. Paval comes from Kozhikode while Sahad belongs to Thiruvananthapuram and he works as an accountant, who is currently on maternity leave. Both of them left their families after realizing their transgender identity.

After this, both of them decided to change their gender. And then they are undergoing hormone therapy as part of the sex change process. Paul says that he decided to have a child only after a lot of thought.

How to arrange milk for the newborn?

Paval said, “Sahad had already had both her breasts removed and we were both progressing through hormone treatment. But our desire to have a child has put the process on hold for the time being.”

Paval, who is going to be a girl from a boy, says that he is getting a lot of help from the doctors at the Government Medical College Hospital in Kozhikode, where Sahad is going to give birth to his child next month. He said, “The doctors have asked us not to reveal much about the insemination process. Now that Sahad has got both breasts removed, we hope to feed the baby from the breast milk bank in the medical college.”
