Elon Musk has confirmed during an interview that he has fired a lot of people from the total employees of Twitter so far. The billionaire took over Twitter in October last year and carried out several rounds of layoffs after the $44 billion acquisition. Musk announced in an interview with BBC on Twitter Space that only 1,500 of the approximately 8,000 Twitter employees are still working in the company. Musk claims that there were just under 8,000 employees when he bought the company. Now, Twitter has around 1,500 employees left.

Elon Musk will not sell Twitter
Elon Musk claims that his tenure at Twitter has been "very volatile" and things are going great now. However, Musk claims that he bought Twitter because he had to. Recently, he also announced that what Twitter has paid is not even half its value at present, which is equivalent to $20 billion. Despite this, Elon Musk will not sell Twitter even if someone pays him $44 billion. He later explained that he would sell it only if the buyer had the courage to tell "the truth" like Musk.
