Govt Internship for Students: There is an option to do internship for UG PG students and research scholars in the Department of Industry and Internal Trade under the Central Government.

Ministry of Commerce Internship: If you are a student of undergraduate course, post graduation course or a research scholar, then there is a chance for you to do internship in the Central Government. Government Internship Offer has been made by the Ministry of Commerce for UG PG students and research scholars . A special notification has been issued for this. Please tell that there will be a selection of 20 candidates at a time.

The internship is being offered by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) under the Ministry of Commerce. As per the released notification, the objective of the internship is to provide exposure to the students. Along with this, students will also get a chance to understand the working culture of the Government of India.

Selection of 20 interns at a time

As per the notification issued by the Ministry of Commerce, the internship will be open throughout the year and applications will be accepted only in online mode. In this, only 20 interns will be selected at a time.

The students applying for the internship should be from Engineering, Management, Law, Economics, Computer and Library Management sectors. However, students from other backgrounds can also apply. Students from different backgrounds will be considered on a case-to-case basis.

Internship details

- The duration of this internship will be minimum one month and maximum three months. However, students can decide the duration of the internship on their own.

- According to the released notification, the selected candidates will be paid an amount of Rs 10,000 per month during the internship.

- You can apply online for internship. For this, the candidate has to log on to dpiit.gov.in.

- To apply in this, candidates should have Aadhaar card, identity proof, address proof, class 10th/12th marksheet for age proof, bank details so that they can be received in the stipend account. You will not be able to apply without these documents.
