Gujarat Titans thrash Mumbai Indians by 55 runs, Afghan bowlers wreak havoc after Gill-Miller blast

 

In the 35th match of IPL 2023 (IPL 2023), Gujarat Titans defeated Mumbai Indians by 55 runs with the help of Gill-Miller's dhamaal and Noor-Rashid's superb bowling. This is Mumbai's second consecutive defeat. Mumbai won the toss and decided to field first in this match. Gujarat played Joshua Little in place of Shubman Gill as an impact player in this match. At the same time, Mumbai played Tilak Verma as an impact player in place of Riley Meredith.

Chasing the target, the team of Mumbai Indians could only score 152 runs losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. Nehal Wadhera scored the most runs for the team. He played an inning of 40 runs in 21 balls with the help of 3 fours and 3 sixes. Apart from him, Cameron Green played an inning of 33 runs in 26 balls with the help of 3 sixes. Whereas Suryakumar Yadav contributed 23 (12) runs. Noor Ahmed took maximum 3 wickets from Gujarat. Apart from them, Rashid Khan and Mohit Sharma took 2-2 wickets. Hardik Pandya took one wicket.
