India Russia Defence: India's relations with Russia have always been better. Russia has been providing weapons and necessary military equipment to the Indian Army. At present, India is the largest buyer of military equipment from Russia. To put it plainly, the Indian Army is largely dependent on Russia. Russia also earns big money by selling military equipment to India. But now a time of trouble is about to come for India. 

American magazine Foreign Policy has claimed that Russia's defense industry is currently going through a struggle to supply important equipment to India. Russia is not able to fulfill its own needs. In such a situation, how will Russia be able to help India? Significantly, Russia is in trouble after the war with Ukraine. Years of Ukraine's ongoing conflict has been over a year. In such a situation, Russia's defense industry is engaged in fulfilling its needs. At the same time, because at present it is not able to provide the necessary supplies to India. 

Russia is unable to supply to India 

The magazine has claimed in its report that in the midst of the ongoing war with Ukraine, Russia itself does not know when it will continue to meet India's military needs. There is also no guarantee that many equipment will continue to be supplied to India for the next decade. In such a situation, the question is from where will India fulfill its needs. 

India's deal in limbo 

According to the magazine, Indian forces have mostly Russian-made equipment, as well as India has made deals with Russia for many equipment. Which seems to be going in the balance. According to the magazine, the availability of military equipment with Russia has decreased. Which will definitely affect India. The magazine claims that after the reduction in supply like Russia, India's stock will be less, which will not be easy to fill later.

Significantly, in recent times, India's relations with both Pakistan and China are tense. In such a situation, this message taking India will increase the morale of the enemies. Operational capabilities will be negatively affected if the necessary military assistance is not received from Russia. Let us tell that at this time China and India are face to face on the Line of Actual Control (LAC). 

Delivery is pending 

Let us tell you that there is a delay in the delivery of five S-400 missile systems from Russia. In the year 2018, India signed a $5.4 billion deal with Russia for this system. India is awaiting the delivery of the last two regiments. According to Russia, it will be delivered in the beginning of the year 2024, although it was to be received only in  the year 2023 .
