Indian food will save from Covid 19! ICMR also agreed, know what was found in the research

According to reports, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the death rate in India, a densely populated country, was 5-8 times lower than in sparsely populated western countries.

Indian food is famous all over the world. This is the reason why Indian dishes are being prepared with great enthusiasm in foreign countries as well. But recently a study by ICMR i.e. Indian Council of Medical Research has come out regarding Indian food. This research was published in the April edition of the Indian Journal of Medical Research. According to the research – Indian food rich in iron, zinc and fiber, drinking tea regularly and using turmeric has shown a reduction in the severity and mortality rate associated with corona in the country.

According to reports, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the death rate in India, a densely populated country, was 5-8 times lower than in sparsely populated western countries. The research was carried out by a global team of scientists from countries like India, Brazil, Jordan, Switzerland and Saudi Arabia. In this research, it was to find out whether dietary habits were related to the difference between the severity of corona and the mortality rate.

Indian food superfood

According to researchers at the Center for Genomics and Applied Gene Technology and the Policy Center for Biomedical Research in Translational Health Sciences at the Institute of Integrative Omics and Applied Biotechnology in West Bengal, Indian foods suppress the cytokine storm and severity of the corona. Due to which the death and severity of corona in India can be reduced as compared to western countries.

What was found in the research

According to research, the elements present in Indian food maintain high levels of iron and zinc in the blood as well as the abundance of fiber in the food. These elements played a role in avoiding the serious effects of carbon dioxide (CO2), lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and corona. In addition, Indians who drank tea regularly were able to keep their good cholesterol levels high. Catechins present in tea lower blood triglycerides by acting as natural atorvastatin. At the same time, turmeric increases immunity to fight infection.
