IPL 2023: KKR's big win, beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 81 runs at home

Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 81 runs with the help of Shardul Thakur's blistering half-century and Varun Chakraborty-Suyash Sharma's excellent bowling. In this match, RCB captain Faf du Plessis won the toss and decided to bowl first. Let us tell you that Kolkata fed Suyash Sharma instead of Venkatesh Iyer as an impact player. At the same time, Bangalore fed Anuj Rawat in place of Mohammad Siraj as an impact player.

Chasing the target, the Bangalore team got piled on the score of 123 in 17.4 overs in 20 overs. Faf du Plessis scored the most runs for RCB. He scored 23 runs in 12 balls with the help of 2 fours and 2 sixes. Apart from him, Virat Kohli scored 21 runs in 18 balls with the help of 3 fours. Varun Chakraborty took the maximum 4 wickets from Kolkata. Suyash took 3 wickets and Sunil Narine took 2 wickets. It was Suyyash's first IPL match in which he made a mark. Apart from this, Shardul took one wicket.
