IPL 2023: Rajasthan beat Chennai by 32 runs, Jaiswal and Zampa became the heroes of victory



In the 37th match of IPL 2023, Rajasthan Royals defeated Chennai Super Kings by 32 runs with the help of Yashasvi Jaiswal's half-century and Adam Zampa's 3 wickets. Rajasthan won the toss in this match and decided to bat first. In this match, Rajasthan played fast bowler Kuldeep Yadav in place of Shimron Hetmyer as an impact player. At the same time, Chennai Super Kings fed Ambati Rayudu in place of Akash Singh as an impact player. 

Batting first, Rajasthan Royals scored 202 runs losing 5 wickets in 20 overs. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored the most runs for the team. He played a half-century inning of 77 runs in 43 balls with the help of 8 fours and 4 sixes. This is his highest score in IPL. Dhruv Jurel played an inning of 34 runs in 15 balls with the help of 3 fours and 2 sixes. Apart from him Jos Buttler and Devdutt Padikkal contributed 27(21)-27(13)* runs respectively. Jaiswal gave a good start to the team by sharing 86 (50) runs for the first wicket with Butler. Tushar Deshpande took maximum 2 wickets from Chennai side. At the same time, Mahish Teekshana and Ravindra Jadeja got one wicket each. 

Chasing the target, the team of Chennai Super Kings could only score 170 runs losing 6 wickets in 20 overs. Shivam Dubey scored maximum runs for the team. He played a half-century inning of 52 runs in 33 balls with the help of 2 fours and 4 sixes. This is his third consecutive half-century in IPL 2023. Apart from him, Rituraj Gaikwad played an inning of 47 runs in 29 balls with the help of 5 fours and a six. Adam Zampa took maximum 3 wickets from Rajasthan side. Apart from him, Ravichandran Ashwin took 2 wickets. Kuldeep Yadav was also successful in taking one wicket.
