IPL 2023: The trio of Rashid-Shami and Sudarshan rocked, Gujarat Titans beat Delhi by 6 wickets

In the seventh match of IPL 2023 (IPL 2023), Gujarat defeated Delhi by 6 wickets with the help of Rashid Khan, Mohammed Shami's brilliant bowling and Sai Sudarshan's half-century. In this match, Delhi played Khaleel Ahmed in place of Sarfaraz Khan as an impact player. At the same time, Gujarat fed Vijay Shankar in place of Joshua Little. Let us tell you that in the seventh match, Gujarat Titans captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and decided to bowl first.  

Delhi Capitals, batting first, lost 8 wickets in 20 overs and scored 162 runs on the scoreboard. Captain David Warner scored the most runs for the team. He played an inning of 37 runs in 32 balls with the help of 7 fours. Apart from him, Akshar Patel played an inning of 36 runs in 22 balls with the help of 2 fours and 3 sixes. Whereas Sarfaraz Khan contributed 30(34) runs.

Mohammed Shami and Rashid Khan took maximum 3-3 wickets from Gujarat side. At the same time, Alzarri Joseph was successful in taking 2 wickets.  

Chasing the target, Gujarat won the match by losing 4 wickets in 18.1 overs. Sai Sudarshan scored the most runs for the team. He played an unbeaten half-century of 62 runs in 48 balls with the help of 4 fours and 2 sixes. In the end, David Miller played an unbeaten inning of 31 runs in 16 balls with the help of 2 fours and 2 sixes. He shared a 56(29)* run partnership with Sai for the 5th wicket. Vijay Shankar, who played as an impact player in this match, also contributed 29 (23) runs.

Enrique Norkhia took the maximum 2 wickets from Delhi Capitals. Apart from them, one wicket each was taken by Khaleel Ahmed and Mitchell Marsh.
